L'Appartement - 12 avenue de la Gare - Gannat

Très bon séjour dans ce charmant que nous recommandons. Positive: Charmant logement, très bien situé , propre et calme.

Strongly recommended - with a couple of reservations Positive: The location is excellent: a quiet road easy to get to, with plenty of parking (we didn't feel the need to use the private parking), a good supermarket a minute away on foot and quick and easy pedestrian access to the town centre. The first-floor and ground-floor rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The house itself is old but has been tastefully modernised, and offers an agreeable mix of character and comfort. We liked being able to eat outdoors in the garden area. It's excellent for a family or group of friends to reserve the whole house. Communication with the hosts was very good and they responded quickly to our online questions, although we never actually met them. Gannat is a good base for exploring the locality and we visited Vichy, Puy de Dome, the Paleopolis and several historical sites during our stay, as well as enjoying the town itself. Negative: We expected a self-contained first floor apartment with separate bathrooms and WC for each bedroom. As other guests have noted, there are two showers but only one WC on the first floor, so at night guests in the second bedroom have to pass through the main bedroom to get to the toilet. Also it turns out the kitchen and salon on the ground floor are shared with guests on the second floor so we were always a bit on edge about whether we would need to share the fridge and the cooking and washing facilities. In the end this didn't happen and we hardly encountered the other guests who were staying. Sharing would not be a problem for us (we've used many a Youth Hostel over the years) but the uncertainty was not very relaxing. A very minor point: communication with the hosts was clear and top quality - but maybe just a few too many messages :-)

Propre, bien situé mais certaines pièces du logement partagées Positive: Contacte réactif, ville calme et commodités proches. Accès jardin Negative: Bip portail non trouvable a l'endroit indiqué, il serait bon de juger dans l'annonce que les living-rooms, salons, cuisines sont partagées avec un autre logement et ne sont pas comme cela est indiqué (compris dans le logement appartement). Aussi, besoin de traverser une chambre pour utiliser les WC de l'appartement, l'autre option reste d'utiliser les WC partagés au RDC. Par principe il serait bon de mentionner cela dans l'annonce. Je ne m'attendais pas non plus à devoir faire mon lit en arrivant..

Bon séjour Positive: Nous étions dans l'appartement au 1er étage. Les chambres sont propres, de taille correcte. La cuisine bien équipée et l'accès à l'extérieur avec terrasse équipée et jardin. Le stationnement dans la rue est facile et supermarché à proximité. Negative: Le manque d'insonorisation entre l'appartement que nous occupions et le 2eme étage.Dans l'appartement il y a 2 chambres 2 salles de bains mais une seule est équipée d'un WC. Il faut que les occupants de l'autre chambre traverse la chambre 2 pour y avoir accès... Jardin non tondu donc dommage pour notre chien...

Positive: Maison parfaite, belle emplacement, facile d'accès Très propre et bien équipée, au calme et proche des proximité. Ce séjour était très agréable
